North v South – White Wine Competition

This event is a blind tasting of premium white wines from three countries each in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. Inspired by international rugby competitions, the North is represented by France, Italy, and England. The South is represented by South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Each nation will showcase two white wines – a Chardonnay and another white variety that their country is renowned for.

Participants will score each wine blind, with cumulative scores tallied and announced. Which hemisphere will win? Which country’s wines will score the highest? What will be the wine of the night?

Come join us for a fun and lively gathering of wine lovers in a friendly scrum! You can root for your favoured hemisphere, fly your country’s colours and cheer on your nation’s tipple. Or simply sit above the fray, enjoy some good wine, and leave the drop-kicking commentary to others!
