Six Nations Competition – White Wine Edition

First off, this event is not really about rugby! It’s a blind tasting of white wines that faces off bottles from three countries each in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. The North is represented by France, Italy, and England. The South is represented by South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Each nation will be represented by two white wines – a Chardonnay and another white variety.

Participants will score each wine 0,3,5 or 7 points, with cumulative scores tallied and announced. Which hemisphere will win? Which country’s wines will score the highest? What will be the wine of the night?

Come join us for a fun and lively gathering of wine lovers in a friendly scrum. You can fly your favourite country’s colours and cheer on your nation’s tipple. Or simply sit above the fray, judge some good wine, and leave the mauling and drop-kicking commentary to others!
